Another Great Product From Ed Brown(08/05/2014)
Put these Ed Brown Stainless Grip Screws on my Rock River Armory M1911. I used Brownells 100-006-693 1911 13% Glass Filled Black Nylon Grips. I like the contrast of the stainless screws against the black grips. The Ed Brown Grip Screws are a good value at a good price.
Quality product(08/02/2011)
Nicely finished screws that fit my 1911 perfectly. No modification required. Adds to the appearance of the firearm.
Great Grip Screws(16/08/2012)
Got these for a project pistol. They look much better than the factory screws that came with the pistol and they come with the allen wrench. Definitely two thumbs up.
Very Poor Quality(16/08/2012)
Just purchased new grips and decided to get these new grip screws to spruce up the look of my 1911. The first one I installed broke at the head as I was installing it, threw the remaining 3 in the trash. Was able to remove remaining screw shaft from the bushing using a dental pick. Re-installed the old grip screws. Might give the Wilson grip screws a try later. Will never purchase Ed Brown products again.
Ed Brown 1911 std. grip screws(15/12/2016)
I've purchased Ed Brown's 1911 grip screws and grip studs to replace original OEM screws / studs when necessary. In the past I've tried other brand screws but I always come back to Ed Brown's. They never disappoint. It's a small (some might say insignificant) item but when you need to replace them you want them to work. I prefer the standard allen wrench style vs. the torx style.
