A must-have for AR15 Armorers(19/06/2009)
Very useful, especially for those of us who have large fingers & hands, and have trouble removing gas tubes. This tool makes removing gas tubes a breeze, even those that have been well-used and are difficult to remove otherwise.
I've removed dozens of gas tubes with this wrench, all with no fuss nor any damage to the gas tube...some were very difficult, and couldn't be done without this wrench unless the gas tube was destroyed in the process.
I've even used it to install several gas tubes. All in all, a very versatile and useful wrench, making it a MUST-HAVE for any AR15/M16/AR10 Armorer or builder.
Definately worth the money(15/08/2009)
This tool is extremely useful for removing gas tubes that have been carboned up and stuck fast in the gas block.
If you do any barrel work on M16/AR15 rifles, you need this tool.
Great quality(14/09/2009)
This wrench is superb. Looks and feels as if you are using a Craftsman product!!
Yes, you do need it.(27/11/2009)
This is one of those tools we have all looked at and said "Looks useful, but I'll just keep using my old pliers". I did for a couple of years and got tired of chewing up gas tubes. This wrench is the best for removing even the most stubborn carbon caked tubes. Super easy to use. Glad I took the plunge and got the right tool.
Didn't work(29/11/2010)
Tried to remove a stuck gas tube on a Bushmaster M-4. Could not get a good tight hold on the tube, even after adding a piece of rubber for additional grip on the tube. The wrench kept sliding, no matter how tight.
Broke On First Use(31/10/2012)
The first time I tried to use this, the handle spun on the shaft and as a result, I could not get it tight enough to hold onto the gas tube.
Great tool!(27/12/2012)
I got tired of tearing up gas tubes and gave this tool a try. It grabs tight while not harming the tube. Makes removal and assembly very easy. Worth then investment as far as I'm concerned.
Don't waste your money(10/01/2013)
Don't waste your money on this thing it is useless .
Looks fine(12/06/2014)
I use to have one like it for brake lines and it had machined area for lines so yes it was better but this one will work just fine and I will close it, drill it through to give better grab on press.
