Replaces Sloppy-Fitting Factory Trigger; Smooth, Rounded Face For Comfort

Match-grade replacement trigger improves control and increases shooting comfort for greater accuracy. Solid, aluminum alloy trigger shoe is oversized for precise fitting to your frame. Smooth, rounded face eliminates tender finger caused by abrasions from sharply serrated trigger faces during long shooting sessions. Transmits the actual trigger action more effectively for a better feel of actual pull weight and improved control of letoff. Stainless steel trigger bow is longer than factory length to reduce take up. Overtravel screw helps eliminate trigger overtravel. Available with Short, Medium, and Long trigger shoe. Gunsmith fitting required.

Good Trigger (18/04/2012)

I have used many different aftermarket triggers over the past 30+ years. I have now installed several of these in different manufacturer's frames. These are among the best. Dimensions are what they should be to fit more loosely machined frames well and with fitting, the more tightly machined frames. The slightly longer trigger bow prevents the fore and aft slop/looseness present with some factory and aftermarket triggers. I Was uncertain about the smooth face, but it is very comfortable to use.

ALUMINUM MATCH TRIGGER, MEDIUM (10/01/2013)

This is an exceptional trigger. Required virtually no fitting. I stoned the trigger bow just a touch to get an even more enhanced (already very smooth)smoothness. I installed this in a Rock Island Armory 1911A1. This trigger took the rough, gritty, sloppy trigger and tightened it up while also completely removing the grit. The factory trigger bow is parkerized, which makes for rough, scratchy movement. This trigger has a very polished bow and the trigger shoe is oversized to tighten up the slop in the up/down and side/side axis'. A truly great product.

Being fairly new to 1911s, I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into.

Unsurprisingly, trigger did not drop into a PT1911. But, understandably, fitting is required. After I figured out what I needed to do, it was just a matter of time.

This was meant largely as an aesthetic modification, but it has made the trigger reset and break much better. Trigger pull remains unchanged, at least in a subjective sense in terms of weight.

The recess where the over-travel stop is well machined and doesn't have anything near a sharp edge to it. Though it is noticeable, but not more so than others.

Functioned flawlessly with the 100 rounds I put in it to test a few new parts.

Simply, a good looking trigger that is well built and reasonably priced.

I did mark 'fitting required' in cons, not as a complaint, but just to make sure people know what they're getting into. This part will not drop in, it's oversized requiring removal of material to fit your particular gun. If you don't want to do some cursory fitting - don't get the part.

Certainly not a drop in... Stirrup was bent inward both sides, needed considerable reforming over mandril, maybe just my luck.

Got exactly what I thought I was getting (23/09/2010)

Had no problems, bow was straight and square. Used it in an Auto-ordnance .40. Slight file work and it was operational.

Replacement for S&W 1911PD (01/03/2012)

Replaced the super loose/rattling trigger on my S&W 1911PD it went right in with no adjustments. Huge difference, pretty tight fit with just a little vertical movement. Trigger pull feels smoother than factory. Overall length is greater so trigger uptake is significantly decreased. Long size matches factory length of pull. Great inexpensive upgrade.

Dropped one of these in each of my Kimbers, easy install. As I have short thick hands I need a short trigger. The Kimbers now fit like a glove. Trigger pull has improved as has my shooting. It pays to have the right length trigger and these triggers feel great.
