Light & Strong For Fast Handling In Extreme Environments

Tactical carbine stock features two full inches of length adjustment. Quick-release button switches the stock length to five different positions. Soft foam cover on tube provides a comfortable cheekweld. Also features three 1 ½” wide sling slots, a rubber recoil pad, and a receiver end plate with ambidextrous attachment points for HK-style single-point clip-on slings. There’s even a machined-in hammer on the butt for breaching doors and hand-to-hand combat. Precision –machined from a solid, heat-treated, aluminum billet for superb durability and strength. Quick release button can be replaced with the included machine screw to convert it into a rock-solid, fixed-length stock.

SPECS: 6061-T6 heat-treated, aircraft grade aluminum, Type 3, mil. spec. hard-anodized, matte finish. Includes ½" thick, rubber recoil pad and screws. Carbine - 7½" (19cm) OAL collapsed, extends to 9½" (24cm) OAL. 10½" (27cm) L.O.P. collapsed, extends to 12½" (32cm) L.O.P.

La culata táctica para carabina ofrece dos pulgadas completas de ajuste de longitud. Un botón de liberación rápida cambia la longitud de la culata a cinco posiciones diferentes. Un recubrimiento de espuma suave en el tubo proporciona un apoyo cómodo para la mejilla. También cuenta con tres ranuras para correa de 1 ½” de ancho, una almohadilla de retroceso de goma y una placa de extremo del receptor con puntos de anclaje ambidiestros para correas de tipo clip-on HK. Incluso tiene un martillo mecanizado en la culata para abrir puertas de manera forzada y combate cuerpo a cuerpo. Mecanizada con precisión a partir de un sólido bloque de aluminio tratado térmicamente para una durabilidad y resistencia excepcionales. El botón de liberación rápida puede ser reemplazado con el tornillo de máquina incluido para convertirlo en una culata de longitud fija y sólida como una roca.

A great rigid stock, but be warned that it's heavy. If you want lightweight, consider the CTR.

After about 4 years of use, I still prefer this buttstock over all others. Having said that, buttstocks have improved over the years. It is possible to tighten this down to rock solid (but non-adjustable) for accuracy, which is nice. Of course, there's some newer "plastic" buttstocks that are just as solid in the adjustable format since this does still have slop when in adjustable configuration. Personally, I love the balance point this gives the gun due to the weight of the stock, and I rest assured knowing how strong it is in case worse turns to worst and I have to use it as a club or battering ram. Having said all of that... I always show my gun to folks before I build them one, and to date nobody else has given my stock much more than a sideways glance before opting for a Magpul buttstock!!! So, to each his own, but I'll take this bad boy in a second, and that's after having used it for years and fired many rounds through other AR's outfitted with DPMS, Magpul, and Vltor buttstocks.

Heavy Duty all in one package (17/07/2011)

I used this AR stock for a carbine build for a co-workers son. He wanted something different and we hadn't seen this one in person yet. I couldn't be happier! The description is lacking as to what you really get, but with a simple call to Brownells they were able to fill in the blanks...great CS as always!!

This stock has an intregal buffer tube/reciever extention. It also came with an ambi sling endplate, slotted style, not the hole style. I used a Magpul ASAP sling plate on this build but the included plate will go on another of my co-workers AR's

The only issue is the castle nut is larger than most. My castle nut wrench would not fit, but my armorers tool has the old style spanner wrench section. Carefully using that tool was able to get the job done.

Overall this stock is a very solid addition to an AR.

Tough stock (04/06/2012)

I originally had the Gen 1 version on my rifle. Due to recent training and malfunction clearing techniques from Mike Pannone, I decided to go to the Gen 4 version. This was money well spent. The buffer tube is strong enough to use as a battering device (only when fully collapsed). Combined with a Magpul ASP, this is a great way to go.

Beast of a stock (17/04/2013)

Have had this on my Patrol Rifle for a year now and haven't looked back. Adds a good amount of weight to the weapon and coupled with an ST-T2 buffer the recoil reduction is amazing. Flattest shooting rifle I have ever shot. The tube is much thicker than a milspec buffer tube and the foam tube creates a very comfortable cheek weld. Even the included recoil pad is fantastic. While this may not be ideal for a constant carry situation (ie military) this stock suits my needs perfectly. When they say you can break down a door with this stock, they weren't kidding!

Simply the best (16/10/2017)

Solid, well thought out design, strong and smoth mechanism. Easy to Install, extremely durable and tough. I have used many collapsible stocks over the years and in my humble opinion this is the best. Big suprise is how tight it locks up, makes for an accurate platform.
