Realistic, Anywhere/Anytime Practice Without Expending Ammo

Helps you train without going to the range or burning up ammo. Simply insert the laser training cartridge unit into the chamber like an ordinary cartridge. When you pull the trigger, the firing pin activates a switch that turns on the bright red laser dot to indicate the “bullet” impact point. Activates for 100 milliseconds each time the firing pin strikes. Use it to “call the shots” on any standard target or, for a more interactive experience, with the Training Target sold below. Rimless housing prevents the LTS from being extracted and ejected when you rack the slide—perfect for tap/rack/bang malfunction drills. Soft brass housing is fitted with two rubber O-rings to prevent damage to the chamber.

It has really improved my draw, fire precision, and speed. Im also working on firing on the move. All inside and I dont even have to clean my weapon afterward.

I just received my 9mm Laser Trainer Cartridge and I am very excited and happy to know that the laser light is very bright! and it comes with three extra batteries. I can practice at home and see where my shots are landing! :-)

I just received my Laser Trainer Cartridge. It is excelllent for what it does. The light is bright enough to see in daytime, indoors. It is a great boon to dry fire practice and also excellent for seeing where you would hit when point shooting.

The only aspect that could be improved is the base. While it is designed to prevent the extractor from removing the case from the chamber, which allows cntinued racking of the slide without ejecting the shell/trainer, providing an optional base with grooves which allow it to be extracted would allow quick removal. This is especially useful if you have oly one weapon and it has the trainer for practice and you need it immediately.

Either way I'll nost likely buy more of these!

Great training aide (26/06/2014)

I just received this as a gift for my birthday. I have been wanting to get to the range, but just can't find the time. This has made it so nice to be able to practice right in my home. Now when I have a few extra minutes I can get my firearm out, make sure it is clear (safety first) and start training. I think I'm going to purchase one of the targets too.

QUIET, PRECISE - GREAT TRAINING AID (09/07/2014)

Saved its cost in range fees the first month. I bought a 2nd for my Dad's 9mm. Quiet, precise, rugged. This is a great training aid.

great addition to training program, easy to use. I found that sometimes it was hard to insert, my unit seemed to lose center after a many hundreds of "rounds". I called the customer service number and they did some troubleshooting with me. It turns out that my rubber rings were worn, they sent me a new set at no charge. They also told me to apply a tiny bit of gun oil or petroleum jelly to help the cartridge seat in the chamber more easily and extend the life of the rubber rings. Great customer service, it's nice to see a company stand behind their products.

Great Training Tool (12/08/2012)

Have fired this device several thousand times during last two months. It is durable and works every time. (unlike previous model which was sound activated.) Dry firing is fun with this thing, especially when used with the laser target.

The snap cap style pad on the back of the unit protects my firing pin and is easily replaced when worn, which takes a long time; fits like a standard .45ACP cartridge; you can leave the batteries in when not in use and they don't drain. The warranty on the laserltye cartridge is great, especially on an electronic product.
