We designed our Lightweight Rest for shooters who needed a lighter, more economical option to a standard weight cast iron rest tripod. The Lightweight tripod is machined aluminum, and the leg screws and T-handle are lightened to produce a weight savings of over 11 pounds from our standard rests. These Lightweight rest are ideal for F-Class shooters, field shooters, sight in sessions and plinking. Our Lightweight Rests accept all Sinclair rest tops and accessories including F-Class extended leg screws and Speed Screw. Our lightweight rest base is ready to accept your existing Sinclair rest top from another rest if you would like to lighten things up for portability. Loosen the t-handle of your existing Sinclair rest and lift out the top, post and handwheel and drop it into this lightweight base. Lock the post in place and you are ready to go.
