Stainless Steel Allen Head Screws For Maximum Torque

Replace worn or damaged factory triggerguard screws with these stainless steel, Allen head screws that allow you to apply maximum torque without slipping and damaging the screw head or the stock. Set includes three standard-length screws, plus 5⁄32" Allen wrench. May require minor alteration to screw heads to fit custom bottom metal.

SPECS: Stainless steel, natural finish. Includes: (1) front guard screw, 15/16" (3.3cm) long; (1) center guard screw, 1-5/8" (4.1cm) long; (1) rear guard screw, 1-13/16" (4.7cm) long. Fits Winchester Model 70 triggerguards.

Reemplaza los tornillos del guardamonte de fábrica desgastados o dañados con estos tornillos de acero inoxidable con cabeza Allen, que te permiten aplicar el máximo torque sin resbalar y dañar la cabeza del tornillo o la culata. El conjunto incluye tres tornillos de longitud estándar, además de una llave Allen de 5⁄32". Puede requerir alteraciones menores en las cabezas de los tornillos para adaptarse a metales inferiores personalizados.

Will not a fit a post-64 rifle (09/08/2010)

Althought the description does not say so, according to the Brownells techs these screws are for a pre-64 rifle. Two of the screws are too long for my Model 70 Classic.

I prefer my screws to be long so that I can cut them to fit.

The screws worked great for me and they will fit post 64 rifles, the newer verson of the model 70. I did shorten the rear screw about .125" to match the one that came with the rifle as far as length. I may not have bottomed out anyway. But it is a easy fix to reduce the rear screw .125"

THESE ARE A GREAT FIT ON A WIN 70 / 670, MOSS 800 SERIES, OR THE MOSIN-NAGANT. THEY ALL USE THE .250" X 32 THREAD PATTERN. YES, THEY ARE LONGER IN LENGTH FOR SOME STOCK DIMENSIONS, BUT CAN EASILY BE CHUCKED INTO A DRILL, SPIN, & HOLD AGAINST THE GRINDING WHEEL ON A BENCH GRINDER & FIT TO THE LENGTH REQUIRED. ON SOME RIFLES, THE LENGTH MAY BE JUST PERFECT AS IS, BUT LONGER IS BETTER THAN TOO SHORT !!!!!!!-------OOORAH & SEMPER FIDELIS.
