Bought this to use in my 700 P 308, which is in an Accuracy International 2.o chassis. Construction of mag is very good and on par with my AI mags. Function so for has been flawless. I am very satisfied with this mag and also saved a little money over the AI 10 round. I will not buy any more AI mags and will use Accurate instead because quality seems the same and there is a cost saving. Would have given 5 stars but I feel this mag as well as the AI mags are over priced.

AI Quality At Half The Price (18/02/2014)

Very well made. Good and strong. Fits my new Colt M-2012 rifle perfectly. No sharp edges on the feed lips. Feeding is butter smooth. They also fit in my Remingtons in the AICS chassis system. If Accuracy International mags fit your rifle, these are great replacements and don't cost an arm and a leg! I'm gonna buy more!!!

Outstanding quality going to buy again (19/05/2014)

I use this mag in my MDT LSS Chassis and it works flawless. Heavy duty,rock solid mag, no sharp corners. I will not buy AI mags again. Made in the great USA need I say more.

Great for Ruger Precision Rifle (31/01/2016)

This works great in my Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. The P-Mags that come with it or or standard AR-10 mags like DPMS style limit your cartridge oal to about 2.795 or less. This is too short for the Creedmoor. This magazine will let you get out to an oal of 2.900 which is way more than enough to get a load with small jumps and great accuracy. Very well made. My AICS mag will not fit into the mag well - just a hair too big. This magazine fits the bill for longer cartridge length and great fit. A must have if you have the RPR in 6.5 Creedmoor and you hand load.

Don't like these at all (14/05/2016)

Bought both a 5 and 10 round Accurate Mage 308 mags to use with a Remington 700 with a Mapul Hunter 700 stock and mag well. Tried the new setup out today, first with the Magpul magazine, worked like butter. Smooth feeds, just as I expected. Was hoping the Accurate Mag magazines would be even better. Huge disappointment. The follower is horrible. It tilts at an horrible angle making just loading the rounds a chore. Both the 5 and 10 round had the same follower issue. Could only get 8 rounds into the 10 round mag, and just gave up.

Cycling a round into the chamber was horrible. The rounds simply nose right into the front of the mag, had use my finger to lift the nose up out of the magazine to get it to chamber. Subsequent rounds loaded a little easier, but not even close to how smooth the Magpul magazine. Had to sue the bolt as a battering ram with these mags on my setup.

These may work well on other builds, but on a 700 with a Magpul Hunter 700 stock, I suggest you stay away from them.

Not really happy (04/10/2016)

I purchased two of these for my Remington 700 VTR .308 that I converted with a MDT Tach 21. I bought 10 round units.

First day at the range noticed scoring on the Shell from sharp edges on the top of the mag. And had a lot of problems getting it to slide into the chamber due to it getting pinched and grabbed between the 2 blades at the top. Very frustrating! Both mags. seem to have the same problem. I am planning to debur and polish the 2 edges. Hopefully this works. Thinking of trying the plastic Magpul ones, i have had good luck with those with my .223

Damages Brass (13/11/2016)

I bought this for my Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor.

The magazine is sturdy and allows long seating depths to be 0.015" off the lands with 140GR Hornady ELD's.

I cannot load more than 7 rounds, any more than that the spring rate pops the additional rounds out of the mag.

Scratches the brass full length and dents the brass at near the shoulder.

Feeding is a constant hassle, you need to partially eject the mag to get it to feed, I cannot cycle the bolt when the mag is seated.

I deburred and polished the inside edges the lips on the mag attempting to stop the deep scratches, that did not work.

This was an expensive error.

this mag fits my savage 10 fcp-sr perfectly , nice to have a shorter mag than the factory 10rd this is the same mfg. that makes the mag that comes with the rifle , also got a spare 10rd as i said ya get what ya pay for and unfortunitly u pay for the quality

Great mag (30/04/2014)

I use this magazine on my MDT LSS chassis and does a great job. The only problem I had was when I was loading single shots through the top and after about 20 rounds the bottom of the magazine came off. It took a while to find the piece but it installed back with ease.

It works! I use the .308 magazine for 7mm-08, 308, .243 and even the 6mmBR( the 6mmBR is particular where and how I load the ammo in the clip)â¦anyway, it is the best aftermarket clip I have found. Just wish the AI folks would make a clip specifically designed for the 6mmBR and 22BR. Bottom line, the clip works flawlessly for the cartridges it is designed for and the the price is right!
