Excellent Value for quality rack (28/11/2009)

I use these racks in my training classes. They get lots of use (abuse) by multitudes of new users in each class. They hold up perfectly. They will stack, but I do not suggest that. There is some stability issues if you do not make your own wooden 'brace', plus the guns on the bottom rack are not very easily accessible with the top rack on. I think they are best used as 'one level' devices.

Don't just buy one! (20/01/2012)

I have been using the Hy-Skore foam type racks and was not completely satisfied. I use them in two safes. Bought one of these and I only wish I had bought several more. Excellent! Will eventually replace the rest with these. Stable, nice to your guns, compact.

Great rack for the safe! (18/02/2013)

What a deal! Low price and good quality. The shelf in my safe Has 10" of headroom and the rack works great with autos & revolvers w/ 6" barrels. I have 1911's, M&P's, J,K,& N frames in the rack. The 6" barrel muzzles are 7/8" from the shelf when the pistols are in the rack, so I'm sure the 6.5 inch barrels would fit also. It really cleaned up the shelf! I will be ordering a second one.

By far the best thing I have bought for my safe. I had all my handguns lying on their side taking up a lot of space. Now I have them by side in this rack and its amazing the space it opened up in my safe.

Hold my guns comfortably (15/10/2009)

I have tried it with my small,med & large revolvers as well as my med to large semi-autos...it hold them all well without maring the surface. I like the expanability but wish Brownells sold kits to do that without having to buy another complete 3 gun rack. It fits the gun safe shelf well. I'm probaly going to buy a few more....the price is right.

These are a well-constructed, inexpensive, and durable gun safe, gun bench, or range rack that you will find very useful. I've got four or five of my own and I just bought a bunch more to give to my shooting buddies because they always ask: "Where'd you get these" when they see 'em. They keep my safe nicely organized and they're super handy when out on the range. Brownell's has the best price. Get a couple. You will not be disappointed. Very cool. Great value.
